Welcome to Class 7!
In Class 7, our motto is “the sky is no limit to what we can do” because we aim high in whatever we are doing!
Our teacher is Mr Waller who enjoys planning lots of exciting learning activities and opportunities for the Year 4 and Year 5 children at Wynyard Church of England Primary School. Mr Dixon also teaches us for some of our lessons.
In the Autumn term, we took part in the Generation Beyond STEM challenge to design a habitation module for a space station. We also visited the Beamish open air museum to take part in a “Traditions of Christmas” day.
We have also been using the 3D printer to design our own trains and space shuttles. We are looking forward to using the printer this term.
Our topic for the summer term is “Myths and Monsters” where we will be learning about myths from Ancient Greece.
In Geography and History, we are enjoying learning about ancient and modern Greece.
In Mathematics, we are focusing on developing our understanding of capacity, volume, fractions and angles.
In RE, we are learning about faith through the Arts.
We have also started blogging over at:
