Design Technology
At Wynyard we aim to allow children to unlock their potential in Design Technology, we inspire them to use their creativity to design and bring their ideas to life. Our DT curriculum has been designed and logically sequenced to allow children to build upon their skills as they progress through school. We encourage our children to investigate and ask questions in order to evaluate their own and others work enabling them to identify key strengths and areas for development when moving forward. Our key themes in Design Technology are mechanisms, materials, structures, food and nutrition. Our children develop a varied and deep understanding of each theme, and are consistently guided towards achieving great outcomes.
