School Council

Our School Council

We are very proud to introduce our school council for the 2025/26 academic year!

We have an enthusiastic and committed school council with members from Reception-Year 6. Our school council meets regularly with Mrs Fawcett and Mrs Beamson, who lead our school council, to discuss issues which affect pupils and to generate their ideas for school improvements, as well as community projects.

Following their election at the beginning of the academic year, our school council have already set to work coming up with ideas to further develop school. They have already been involved with the following initiatives:

• Fundraising for the local food bank as part of our Harvest celebrations;
• Fundraising for Children in Need with a Heroes themed non-uniform day;
• Planning for our celebrations to commemorate the 10th birthday of the school in the Summer term!
• Developing our active playtimes further, including choosing new playground equipment
• Leading an online safety assembly to mark Safer Internet Day

Our school council members work closely with their classes to gather the ideas of all pupils in the initiatives they are leading. They are also responsible for sharing with governors what they have been up to by presenting at some Governors meetings.
