At Wynyard Church of England Primary School, we recognise that the internet offers a wealth of opportunities for supporting children’s learning and allowing them to communicate and work collaboratively. However, keeping children safe on and offline is of the highest priority for us as a school. Children throughout school are taught about how to keep themselves safe online and how to report any concerns or worries they may have. Our Computing progression of skills ensures that in every year group children are taught about how to keep themselves safe online and how to report concerns.
In school, we have a fantastic group of digital leaders with representatives from across the year groups who help to teach pupils about online safety.
Below are a range of resources to support both parents and pupils in staying safe online.
