School Lunches
Children in Reception and Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2) will all receive a free school lunch as part of the Universal Free School Meals programme. Children in Nursery and Key Stage 2 can pay for a school meal at a cost of £2.50 each day (£12.50 per week) or bring a packed lunch to school.
In school, we operate a wristband service. This means each morning children will choose their lunch from the daily menu and they wear a coloured wristband at lunchtime to indicate their lunch choice to our lunchtime staff. The menus for the Summer term can be downloaded below.
Wynyard CE Primary School is food allergy aware. As a result, we request that children do not bring any products which contain nuts into school, including items containing foods such as Nutella or peanut butter.
