School Lunches

Children in Reception and Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2) will all receive a free school lunch as part of the Universal Free School Meals programme. Children in Nursery and Key Stage 2 can pay for a school meal at a cost of £3.40 each day (£17 per week) or bring a packed lunch to school.

Parents will need to select their child’s lunch choice using the Compass App from the daily menu. Children will then wear a coloured wristband at lunchtime to indicate their lunch option to lunchtime staff. The menus for the Autumn term can be downloaded below.

Wynyard CE Primary School is food allergy aware. As a result, we request that children do not bring any products which contain nuts into school, including items containing foods such as Nutella or peanut butter.
