Our School Council
We have an enthusiastic and committed school council with members from Year 1-Year 6. Our school council meets regularly with Mrs Fawcett and Miss Huntley, who lead our school council, to discuss issues which affect pupils and to generate their ideas for school improvements, as well as community projects.
Following their election recently, our new school council have already set to work coming up with ideas to further develop school.
In previous years, our school council have been involved in a number initiatives:
- Fundraising for the local food bank, Children in Need and Comic Relief;
- Planning for our celebrations to commemorate the coronation of King Charles III
- Developing our active playtimes further, including choosing new playground equipment
Our school council members are also responsible for sharing with governors what they have been up to by presenting at some Governors meetings.
